Iflix now in HD and with better audio

It has taken a while, but it’s finally here. Iflix is in now available in HD (720p) resolution and with audio upgrades across its content. The key enhancements follow closely the rollout of the service in Vietnam recently.

Iflix says all new shows will now be delivered in HD format (720p) including recent exclusive hit titles like The Magicians and Emerald City. Both are fast-tracked series from the U.S.). Other content available in HD are popular TV series like The Flash; and hit movies like Avatar and Titanic.

Older and remaining titles across iflix’s extensive library are in progress.

HD is available via web browser for notebooks and desktop PCs, as well as Google Chromecast for TVs. Support for other devices including mobile, are in the works, although no time frame has been committed.

Audio quality has been enhanced.

The leading Subscription Video on Demand (SVoD) service is now available in Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Maldives, Pakistan and Vietnam. Iflix also has a Joint Venture with Zain, iflix Arabia, to launch the service in the MENA region.

An iflix subscription costs just MYR10 per month in Malaysia for unlimited access without any ads. Pay yearly and save – only MYR96/year.
