Huawei nova 2i

Huawei’s little monster “Selfie Superstar” is now even more affordable, receiving a generous MYR200 price cut in time for the upcoming festivities. Previously MYR1,299, the excellent nova 2i is now an even bigger steal at MYR1,099.

Having received newly-added features namely Face unlock and AR lens via a software upgrade, the nova 2i is as attractive a buy as ever.

When it was unleashed in September last year, I was instantly taken by the device. And who wouldn’t be? It features fantastic premium build, an expansive 5.93-inch Full HD (2160×1080) 18:9 “Full View” display, commendable internals and a Huawei-first quad-camera setup.

Huawei went in for the kill, pricing the irresistible mid-ranger at MYR1,299 at launch, making a mockery of the competition. Aside from the Xiaomi Mi A1, the nova 2i is one of those no-brainer purchases.
