Details are scarce but Huawei Malaysia is teasing the Huawei Vision Smart Screen series. The smart TV comes equipped with a magnetic camera to enable users to communicate with family members over the internet.
Launched in China last December, Huawei’s Vision Smart Screen is a series of smart TVs powered by the Honghu chip and runs HongMeng OS (HarmonyOS). Due to the distributed nature of the homebred operating system, it allows users to enjoy different digital experiences including games, education, medical applications, productivity as well as offer seamless connectivity with smart devices.
The Vision Smart Screen TV series comes in 55-, 65-, and 75-inch sizes, featuring a Quantum Dot 4K LED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. This panel offers up to 100% NTSC colour gamut and 750 nits of peak brightness.
Aside from the 13MP magnetic camera that supports 1080p 30fps MeeTime video calls, the TV also comes with up to a 65W speaker unit with two tweeters, woofer and a pair of passive radiators.
Connectivity-wise, the Vision Smart Screen supports 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 with LE, HDMI 2.0, coaxial, and USB 3.0 ports. The TV also supports voice-enabled features through Huawei’s voice assistant, Xiaoyi.
It is unclear which sizes will be sold in Malaysia and no details on pricing and availability have been revealed as yet.
You can, however, take the Vision Smart Screen for a hands-on experience at the nearest Huawei Experience Store.
