Huawei P8 wins EISA “European Consumer Smartphone’ award for third year running

Huawei P8 EISA Award

The stunning Huawei P8 has won the hearts of the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), picking up the ‘European Consumer Smartphone 2015-2016.’ This is the third consecutive year that Huawei has been recognised by EISA in this category.

Building on the success of last year’s award-winning Ascend P7, the P8 is a true culmination of style and technology. EISA praised the P8 for its “improved camera performance and surprisingly high-end craftsmanship that gives this affordable device a truly sophisticated appearance.”

EISA highlighted the 2,680mAh battery, f/2 lens for better low-light performance and P8’s excellent 5.2-inch Full HD IPS-NEO display.

Huawei’s prowess in network technology is shown in the P8, featuring a compact and powerful dual-antenna design coupled with rapid switching technology

Looking back, in August 2014, the Ascend P7 was named ‘European Consumer Smartphone 2014-2015’ and was praised for its ‘beautiful glass finish’, ‘attractive price’ and its 8MP front-facing camera and 13MP rear-facing camera.

Huawei also won in 2013, for the ultra slim 6.18mm Ascend P6.

The Huawei P8 is available in Malaysia at a price of RM1,799 from all Huawei stores, authorised dealers and Vmall.my.
