Huawei P20 and P20 Pro to launch in Malaysia next week with MYR999 freebies

The just launched Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are heading to Malaysian shores very soon. The local launch is slated for 3 April and Huawei Malaysia has released details about roadshows happening in the Klang Valley and Penang.

The roadshows are happening between 6-8 April 2018 at LG Floor, Blue Concourse, Sunway Pyramid, and Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang.

The good news is that early birds will receive freebies worth more than MYR999, which include a Canon Pixma E3170 inkjet printer, Huawei Sport Bluetooth headphone (AM61) and a Huawei VIP card.

The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are Huawei’s best-looking and most technically-advanced smartphones yet. They push the boundaries of smartphone photography with the P20 Pro rocking a unique triple-camera Leica system, enhanced by AI.

The P20 features a 5.8-inch FullHD+ FullView display, while the P20 Pro comes with a 6.1-inch FullHD+ FullView display.

The nexus of the devices’ AI capabilities is the octa-core Kirin 970 which comes with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

Despite the thin form factor, the P20 and P20 Pro pack impressively large batteries – 3,400mAh and 4,000mAh capacity respectively.

The batteries charge up via USB-C, with fast-charging support thanks to Huawei SuperCharge technology.

In the imaging department, this duo is Huawei’s most advanced yet. The top-of-the-line P20 Pro is officially the best smartphone camera in the world, aided by its unique world’s first triple-camera system with a 40MP sensor.

The huge RGB main sensor rocks an aperture of f/1.8, coupled with a 20MP f/1.6 monochrome unit and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto. The setup enables it to shoot 3X optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom and up to 10X digital zoom.

The P20 on the other hand, gets a commendable 12MP f/1.8 RGB + 20MP f/1.6 monochrome camera setup.

Both stunning models come with a whopping 24MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
