A wise man once said, “The best camera is the one you carry with you.” And I agree with that wholeheartedly. Truth be told, smartphones have become the fanstastic cameras, simply because they’re always with us, every day. The fact is that, smartphone cameras these days are so advanced that there’s little reason to carry another point-and-shoot or DSLR anymore.
As you know, Huawei’s partnership with Leica has resulted in some ground-breaking camera hardware and software on its flagship devices. The current Huawei P10 and P10 Plus encapsulates the best of the partnership. The smaller Huawei P10 features the Leica Dual-Camera 2.0, while the P10 Plus boasts the latest Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro Edition with the new Summilux-H lenses.
Both feature a unique dual-camera setup – 20MP monochrome sensor and a 12MP RGB sensor. This allows the smartphone to capture beautifully crisp and vibrant coloured images, as well as detailed native monochrome ones.
