Ahead of its official global launch in Malaysia on Tuesday, the Huawei nova 5T made its global premiere at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2019.
Sporting new nova branding, the nova 5T made its runway debut and later previewed to media (albeit in a glass display case).
The stunning phone, featuring a gradient effect back will be available in at least three colourways–black, purple, and green.
Under the hood, the flagship device in Huawei’s mid-range series runs a Kirin 980 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
Like the honor 20 in which is shares plenty of similarities, the nova 5T packs a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole selfie camera on the top left corner.
Optics-wise is quad-cam setup with a 48MP f/1.8 (Sony IMX586) main shooter, 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP super-macro unit.
The nova 5T is expected to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3,750mAh battery that charges via USB-C.
