Huawei nova 3e in Sakura Pink coming soon

nova 3e Sakura Pink

Following the release of the Pink edition of the nova 2 Lite early in the month, Huawei is expected to bring a similar colourway to its latest entry-level nova 3e smartphone. Sakura Pink, which is already available in selected markets around the world is rumoured to be coming to Malaysia soon.

As a quick refresher, the nova 3e is the “baby P20,” or “P20 Lite” as it is known in certain markets. It’s the entry-level model in the mid-range nova series line-up, with an uncanny resemblance to its flagship sibling.

There’s a familiar vertical camera array at the back, though, naturally, sans Leica branding.

Despite being a more accessibly-priced device, build quality is surprisingly good, with a glass body with 3D glass. Soon to be offered in Sakura Pink, the device is also available in Klein Blue and Midnight Black.

Tech specs-wise, the nova 3e rocks a 5.84 FullView Display 2.0 FHD+ (2280×1080) display with a 19:9 screen ratio. The display is a similar unit found on the honor 10.

Under the hood, the dependable octa-core Kirin 659 takes care of all processing needs, aided by 4GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of storage.

There’s microSD expansion for those who need more, the option offered by the hybrid SIM tray.

In the battery department, the device is equipped with a 3,000mAh cell that charges up via USB Type-C. A 9V/2A power brick is supplied in the retail box.

The nova 3e boasts a massive 24MP selfie shooter, so you know who the target audience is. Meanwhile, on the rear, it gets a 16MP + 2MP (depth) f/2.2 dual-camera system.

The device runs Android 8.0 with EMUI 8.0 on top.
