HP has announced the HP Z1 workstation, the world’s first 27-inch All-in-One Workstation, targeted at design professionals. The sleek workstation features an innovative chassis that snaps open so users can swap, upgrade parts without any tools.

At first glance, the chassis design is reminiscent of the internals of the Apple iMac and Mac Pro, with its attention to details in architecture and modular structure.
The HP Z1 is powered by quad-core Intel Xeon processors, NVIDIA Quadro graphics with support of up to 1 billion colours. The impressive display is a 27-inch diagonal wide LED display that features a wide, 178-degree viewing angle and an in-plane switching (IPS) panel.
There is a variety of storage types to choose from including 7,200rpm and 10,000rpm drives, SSD, optional RAID configurations, removable drives (AMO), a multiformat media card reader and optical drives including a slot-load Blu-ray Writer.
The A-I-O PC also includes high-fidelity audio, HD quality web cam, HP Remote Graphics Software and HP Performance Advisor.
The new HP Z1 Workstation is expected to be available in Malaysia from April 2012. Pricing starts from RM 5,888.

Workstation performance without compromise

- Tool-less chassis. Users can easily add a hard drive, upgrade memory or access the graphics card by snapping open the chassis to swap out parts.
