Honor has just launched its latest flagship smartphone – the Honor View20 in Paris, France. The device brings several “world firsts” to the plate including a whopping 48MP 3D TOF camera and front in-screen Punch All-View Display with a 25MP camera. Malaysia will be one of the first countries in the world to receive the device, and is slated to hit local retail channels from 26 January 2019.

To welcome the device to Malaysian shores, Honor will host its largest roadshow ever from 23 to 27 January 2019.

The trendy smartphone uses advanced nanolithography technology to create the unique nano texture on the body. The rear body gets a dynamic V-shaped colour gradient. Honor also has a special Honor X Moschino design edition, through a crossover collaboration with the iconic fashion brand.

Honor View20True to the Honor DNA, the Honor View20 is all about the camera. It’s the first smartphone in the world to utilise the latest Sony IMX586 stacked CMOS image sensor – a 48MP unit. The 1/2-inch sensor with 0.8-micron pixel supports “Light Fusion” that pixel bins to produce a high resolution 12MP image, with the aid of artificial intelligence (AI).

The new camera also has 3D functionality, adding a new dimension to photos and videos.

The “punch-hole” display effectively kills the notch and heralds a new trend in full-screen displays. The tiny 4.5mm hole on the top left of the display houses a 25MP selfie camera.

Honor View20The device features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display (1080×2310) and comes with up to 8GB of RAM ad up to 256GB of storage.

It is powered by the latest Kirin 980 chipset with dual-NPU and dual-ISP.

It comes with a 4,000mAh battery that charges up via USB Type-C. It supports fast-charging (4.5V/5A) out of the box.
