Alongside the new Honor 9X Lite, Honor also launched its Magic Earbuds and second-generation smart scale. The three products are part of Honor’s Intelligent Lifestyle Products family, available for purchase starting 28 May 2020.
The Honor Magic Earbuds enters a saturated true wireless earbuds market. Regardless, Honor’s effort looks well-packaged, offering handy features and a contemporary design.
They boast hybrid active noise cancelling technology, utilising a dual-microphone setup. These mics work in tandem with inner mics to cancel out a claimed 32dB of unwanted surrounding noise. Likewise, for noise-free calls, they use beamforming technology with outer two microphones to pick up your voice and remove ambient noise. The inner mic listens inside your ears for voice signals and eliminates unwanted noise accordingly.
The earbuds also feature handy touch controls. You can control your music and calls easily, and also toggle active noise cancellation when you need it.
Each earbud features a 10mm driver to deliver balanced, clean sound.
The Honor Magic Earbuds are built to fit snuggly in your ear. Included in the packaging are four different sized silicon ear tips to ensure the right fit for you.
The built-in battery will deliver up to three hours of music listening with ANC on, or 3.5 hours with ANC off. The charging case will deliver an additional 10 hours of juice.
Pricing and availability
The HONOR Magic Earbuds are available in Pearl White and available at an introductory price of MYR399 (SRP: MYR499). Purchases made on Hihonor will receive free gifts worth RM 149 in the form of the new HONOR Scale 2 and RM 50 Hihonor voucher, while those who purchase the HONOR Magic Earbuds on HONOR’s official store on Shopee, SenQ and Senheng will receive a free HONOR Scale 2.
The Honor Scale 2 is the successor to the Honor Smart Scale. It offers accurate readings of 11 key body health indicators using Huawei TruFit technology. The Honor Scale 2 retails for MYR99. Customers who purchase on Hihonor will receive a free HONOR mug and Hihonor MYR10 voucher, while those who purchase the brand’s official store on Lazada and Shopee will receive a free HONOR mug.
