honor 7X: Full View screen, dual-cameras, compact body

Huawaei’s sub-brand honor, has teased another photo of the upcoming 7X. It’s no secret that it reflects the current trend of a “FullView” display and dual-cameras.

The upcoming honor 7X, which is the successor to the aging honor 6X from 2016, has something that will get all of you fanatics excited about. For starters, the display.

With most of the major smartphone brands adopting the bezel-less display or full view screens, honor is doing the same with their upcoming 7X.

As for the pricing, it’s still pretty much up in arms. Judging that the honor 6X is priced below MYR1,000 in Malaysia, we can expect the successor to be priced within that bracket or perhaps slightly higher.

Now onto the specs. The 7X is expected to come with a 5.93 inch “Full-View” display as a trend spearheaded by the Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone X and the Xiaomi Mi Mix.

Also new to the 7X is the fingerprint reader located on the back of the phone, which is a full-metal shell.

Other specs which can be expected are the usual suspects such as the Kirin 659 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, 3,340mAh battery and dual cameras on the back.

Other unique features on the 7X include the split-screen view, where you can use two apps at once without having to leave the page. Finally, we get to the colors. The 7X will be available in either blue, gold and black.

However, there are some downsides to the 7X. For instance, there is no USB Type-C, no wireless charging, no NFC, no water resistance or even Android Oreo.

But the latter will be there available in 2018, based on what honor has to say.

Also, we’ll have to wait until the global debut of the new 7X to find out the accurate pricing.
