Huawei’s push into high-end consumer segment with products like the Mate 7, P8 and now Mate 8 has catapulted it into the top three smartphone device makers in the world. It reported a 70% annual revenue increase in 2015.

The trade-in promotion by Huawei covers brands like Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC and Lenovo.

The device that you plan to trade-in needs to be in good working condition. No charger or accessories are needed. It does need to fulfill the following criteria:

  • Device is able to power on and off
  • IMEI number is accessible
  • Device must be unlocked
  • Display screen is functional and not cracked
  • No major damage to device, or missing buttons (i.e. water/LCD damage, cracked camera lens, bloated battery, corrosion).

The final value of the device will be based on evaluation by Huawei staff at the trade-up counter. Upon validation, you’ll need to top of the difference for your new Huawei Mate 8.

Huawei is also offering customers who trade-in for the Mate 8 Standard variant, a MYR100 rebate from the listed value.
