B&O Play by Bang & Olufsen has rolled out another stunner – BeoPlay A6, a distinctive-looking connected speaker with B&O’s distinctive sound.

Designed by award-winning Danish designer Jakob Wagner, the boomerang-shaped masterpiece boasts five powerful speaker units with refined digital signal processing. The speakers are angled perfectly to deliver spacious, detailed sound no matter where you are located in relation to the BeoPlay A6.

BeoPlay A6 introduces an innovative touch controls – control your music by tapping or swiping the touch interface. The system was first seen on the award-winning BeoPlay A9. Alternatively, you an use your paired mobile device.

You can stream music to the BeoPlay A6 through AirPlay, DLNA or Bluetooth 4.0. Go crazy with Spotify, Deezer, TuneIn. Your pick.

The five-channel set-up consists of four speakers on the front, with one full-tone driver pointing backwards to maximize the spaciousness of the sound. Each speaker has its own dedicated digital amp.

BeoPlay A6

Taking it one step further in sophistication, B&O worked with Kvadrat, Europe’s leading textile specialists. The result: a custom-made textile on the front cover which features a delicate weaving pattern. This gives it a strong look unique to the BeoPlay A6.

BeoPlay A6 features BeoLink Multiroom technology that unites your B&O PLAY and Bang & Olufsen products into one wireless system. Play different music in different rooms, or have all units play one tune throughout your home.

Pricing and availability

BeoPlay A6 comes in four colours: Light Grey, Dusty Blue, Dark Rose and Dark Grey. It retail at MYR5,599 and it will be available at Bang & Olufen The Gardens showroom from April 2016 onwards.
