Online shopping and I go a long way back. Over a decade and a half, to be exact. Over the years I’ve purchased everything from notebook PCs, CDs, books, kitchenware, clothes, shoes, gadgets to movie tickets, facial care, subscriptions and more. It’s secure, it’s fast, it’s convenient. And the experience is even better these days. One of my favourite online shopping destinations in recent months is 11street.
A new kid on the block
The major online shopping portal in Korea launched in a big way here in April. If you remember, the grand launch had women screaming. Thanks in whole to 11street ambassador Lee Min Ho, popular South Korean actor.
Globally, the online shopping platform serves over 30 million consumers, with over 400,000 sellers.
11street in Malaysia is hosted by Celcom Planet, and offers a huge selection of product categories including Fashion, Electronics, Groceries, Health & Beauty, Kids & Baby, Leisure & Sports, Home & Living and Books & Services, including e-vouchers.
Why 11street rocks
If choice is what you want, choice is what you’ll get in 11street. And that’s one of the attractiveness of the platform. The other thing is that the mobile app is slick too, making it super easy to browse, search and buy.
I can tell you this much. When you’re on the train, in a café sipping your coffee, or simply waiting for someone, being online with 11street can only be described as “dangerous.” Dangerous because you’re going to end up buying stuff. Lots of it.
What I really like is the “Shocking Deals” section. It’s the first online marketplace in Malaysia to offer a lowest price guarantee. If you find something similar for a cheaper price anywhere else online, 11street will pay you the difference. How cool is that?
There’s always something going on at 11street, whether it’s a RM1 bid, special promotion, giveaway, e-voucher download or hot selling item. Even when you’re not really looking, there’s always something for you to buy.
11street also partners with banks like CIMB, Maybank, RHB, AmBank, HongLeong and Public Bank. If you carry certain bank cards, you’ll get additional discounts on some items.
My experience with 11street so far has been positive. I’ve purchased some electronic goods which were shipped quickly. With iPay88 as a payment gateway, you get flexible payment option with credit/debit cards or via bank transfers.
How to sign up
The cool thing about 11street is that it isn’t just a shopping haven. It’s a place to do business too. So you can also sign up as an individual/business seller and start selling your wares on 11street.
11street is unique where it can help educate and train you as a seller, and also providing you facilities to photograph your items if you require to.
Signing up is easy. Head over here, fill in your details with a valid email. As an option, you can connect using your Facebook account.
That’s pretty much it really!
Happy shopping, selling and find what you love at 11street!
