OPPO Malaysia officially launched the OPPO R7 Series last Tuesday, 7 July 2015 and has generated heart-warming response from OPPO fans (‘Ofans’). To recap, the OPPO R7 Plus is a gorgeous device, crafted in a full metal unibody with chamfered edges housing a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display. Despite its size, it measures just 7.75mm thin. The phone is powered by the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip mated to a whopping 3GB RAM. Storage is 32GB, and also packs a huge 4,100mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charging. VOOC is the fastest rapid charging technology available today, able to charge up to 75% in just 30 minutes.
In terms of camera optics, the R7 Plus gets a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 lens complemented by a Samsung ISOCELL CMOS RGBW image sensor. A new dual-drive hybrid focus system includes laser focus, anti-shake optimisation, Contrast Phase Autofocus and new Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF).
The OPPO R7 Plus runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, with OPPO’s ColorOS 2.1 on top.
