Digi offers MYR10 lifetime rebate for senior citizens

Digi today announced that it is providing a special lifetime privilege for senior citizens. All registered Digi postpaid customers aged 60 years and above can now enjoy a MYR10 rebate on Digi’s postpaid plans from as low as MYR28 per month for 6GB of data. The initiative is part of Digi’s Yellow Heart commitment to empower more Malaysians with easy access to connectivity and technology.

Starting today, all eligible Digi customers will automatically receive an in-app notification on their MyDigi app to activate this offer. The offer can be found in the Box of Surprise feature within the app. The rebates are automatically reflected in the subsequent month’s bill.

Similar notification alerts for this lifetime rebate will be sent to other Digi customers once they’ve reached the age requirement of 60 years old.

Earlier in the year, Digi introduced a similar lifetime MYR10 rebate for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). Eligible customers can apply for this rebate at any Digi Store just by showing their original identity card (NRIC) and OKU card. For added convenience, third party registrations by family members or legal guardians are also allowed, with proof of legal guardianship and other necessary documents.

To further promote inclusivity and enhance customer experience, Digi provides express lanes and personalised support for PWDs, seniors and pregnant women at all 30 Digi Stores nationwide.

Digi’s Yellow Heart programme was designed to help more Malaysians develop digital competencies and healthy internet practices. Among programmes that have driven this ambition include future skills learning for marginalised communities and various internet safety activities for school children.
