Adobe announces biggest update to Creative Cloud yet

At the Adobe MAX Creativity Conference today, Adobe unleashed a slew of updates to its Creative Cloud portfolio including four brand new applications. Adobe XD CC comes out of a two-year beta, while Project Felix officially becomes Adobe Dimension CC for 2D to 3D compositing. Also, Character Animator CC for 2D animation gets official billing, as well as Lightroom CC—the all-new cloud-based photography service. Adobe also rolled out updates to its flagship applications Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro CC and its Adobe Stock service. Continue Reading

Adobe MAX 2017: What to expect

Adobe MAX is back, and this time round, lands itself in Las Vegas, Nevada. It promises to be the biggest MAX yet—a massive congregation of creative heads from all over the world. We’re taking designers, artists, photographers, filmmakers, web and mobile developers, audio specialists, and everything in between. Adobe Sensei is mind-blowingly awesome, and it’s just getting started

The single, possibly the most important announcement at Adobe MAX 2016 is Adobe Sensei. The aptly-named ‘guru’ is a framework and set of intelligent services for improving design and delivery of digital experience. It harnesses machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning capabilities. Available across the Adobe Cloud Platform – Creative Cloud, Adobe Document Cloud and Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Sensei tackles experience challenges faced by creatives and customers by automating mundane tasks, driving predictive and personalisation capabilities; and let creatives do what they do best – create.

Adobe MAX Day 2: That Met Ball gown, Quentin Tarantino, Sneaks, MAX Bash

While Day 1 of Adobe MAX was all that one could imagine, the second day of Adobe’s creativity conference was no less of a fanfare. At the keynote, we saw high-profiled creative guests setting the stage on fire. First up was fashion designer Zac Posen; followed by war photographer Lynsey Addario; sculptor and artist; Janet Echelman; and some consider one of the greatest filmmakers – Quentin Tarantino.

Adobe’s high-powered keynote on the first day of its Adobe MAX creativity conference saw exciting announcements including new products like Adobe XD, Project Felix, and Adobe Spark. It revealed Adobe Sensei, a new framework that leverages on machine learning and artificial intelligence powers some of Creative Cloud’s new features. Its expansive Creative Cloud meanwhile, gets a plethora of feature enhancements and central to the suite of apps is Adobe Stock and Typekit.

[Gallery] In and around Adobe MAX: Day 1

Day 1 of the annual Adobe MAX creativity conference in San Diego was as exciting as could be. Major announcements circled around the theme of fusing creativity and technology to enhance users’ digital experiences. Some 10,000 creative folk from all over the world attended the keynote, opened by Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, then baton-passed to Adobe digital lead, Bryan Lamkin. There were a plethora of announcements detailed here; including three new products – Adobe Sensei, Project Felix and Adobe Spark.
