MWC17 Huawei P10

After stealing the show at MWC17 just three weeks ago, Huawei is bringing its flagship Huawei P10 and P10 Plus to Malaysian consumers. Malaysia is one of the first countries in the world to receive these devices.

The groundbreaking duo improves upon the outgoing P9 in the imaging department. They now feature Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro Edition camera system. Both have upgraded sensors – 12MP (RGB) and 20MP monochrome). This works in tandem with the P10’s Summarit f/2.2 aperture lens, and the P10 Plus’ Summilux-H f/1.8 lens.

On the front, both for the first time, feature a Leica 8MP f/1.9 selfie shooter. It has an adaptive nature that adjusts zoom based on the number of users.

In terms of design, Huawei partnered Pantone Color Institute to develop “on-trend” colours, specially optimized for their unique Hyper Diamond-Cut finish. New colour finishes include  Ceramic White, Graphite Black, Dazzling Gold, Rose Gold, Prestige Gold, Greenery, Dazzling Blue and Mystic Silver.

The P10 features a 5.1-inch Full HD display, and adopts the power-efficient Kirin 960 chip from the Mate 9. This is paired to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The P10 Plus on the other hand, sports a bigger, better display – a 5.5-inch 2K panel.
