Get 1GB free internet when you reload MYR10 with Xpax

Celcom Xpax

Although the government and telcos have cleared the air about the 6% SST (Sales and Services Tax), there are apparently certain quarters who aren’t so sure when it comes to prepaid purchases and reloads. The official word is that: there is no SST for prepaid services (for Malaysians).

To reassure its prepaid customers, Celcom is throwing in something extra for subscribers who reload a minimum of MYR10 (non-accumulative). Valid from 13 September, Xpax prepaid customers are entitled to free 1GB of high-speed internet for 24 hours upon successful redemption.

The 1GB free internet can be used for anything, without speed cap.

Customers can enjoy multiple free 1GB data as long as they keep reloading a minimum of MYR10.

Note that you will need to fully utilise the first freebie before reloading and redeeming the next. Otherwise the freebie and active quota will be forfeited and replaced by the later transaction.

To activate the free 1GB data, dial 11816#. To reload, you can do it via Celcom Life app, purchase it online via web, Xpax dealers and also 11street.

If you’re not already an Xpax user, it’s easy to get onboard. Buy a Starter Pack for just MYR10 and it will come with free 10GB Basic Internet every month, free 300MB Hi-Speed Internet (valid for 5 days) and it comes with MYR6 worth of pre-loaded credit. Call rate is set at 30sen/min and SMS at 15sen/SMS. You’re entitled to pick Xciting freebies monthly via the Celcom Life App. Select from 10GB Hi-Speed Facebook data, 10GB Hi-Speed Instagram data, 3GB Hi-Speed YouTube data or Unlimited Chat (WhatsApp, WeChat & Twitter).
