Celcom unveils fresh new look for Blue Cube stores nationwide

Celcom Blue Cube

The next time you step into a Celcom Blue Cube outlet, it’s going to be a whole new experience. Going the more experiential route, Celcom is rolling out newly-designed stores to bring an “interesting and hospitable shopping experience.”

First to showcase the new design is the outlet in Taman Segar, Cheras which features 3D printers, a selection of devices on display, coupled with a modern and industrial feel.

Celcom says the new design will be rolled out to all Blue Cubes nationwide consecutively, to ensure customers have a consistent brand experience. This is the biggest makeover of Celcom’s store footprint in Malaysia since the first concept store was introduced in 1994.

Michael Kuehner, CEO of Celcom Axiata Berhad, said at the launch that retail stores are a significant aspect for many consumer-oriented industries. He also remarked that it is important to stay relevant in keeping up with customers’ ever-evolving preference with a contemporary design.

Customers will be able to experiment new features in-store like 3D printing and kids can play on game consoles while parents get their business needs taken care of at the store.

The stores are also designed to host small events for customers, such as presentation of new devices.

The blue telco aims to revamp the majority of its 61 Blue Cube outlets in 2018.
