Alongside the flagship Realme 3 Pro, the wallet-friendly Realme C2 made a debut in Malaysia on Tuesday. The feature-packed entry level Realme device is priced starting from just MYR429.
The Realme C2’s introduction completes Realme’s first half 2019 lineup which now consists of the Realme 3 Pro, Realme 3 and Realme C2.
Specifications-wise, the Realme C2 offers plenty of kit including a 6.1-inch HD+ (720×1080) display with a dew drop notch. It features a pleasing diamond-cut design with a matte finish. It is offered in Diamond Black and Diamond Blue colour options.
The phone is powered by an octa-core 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and is offered in two configurations: a base 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model; and 3GB RAM + 32GB of storage model.
They both come equipped with a 13MP + 2MP (depth) dual-camera setup, complemented by a 5MP AI selfie camera. The rear camera is capable of 80fps/480p slow motion capture.
The front-facing shooter also supports AI facial authentication.
Keeping the device juiced is a 4,000mAh battery that charges up via micro-USB.
The dual-SIM device comes with a triple card slot and supports Dual VoLTE.

The Realme C2 is priced as follows:

It will be available from offline retail channels starting 18 May 2019. The device can also be purchased online exclusively from Shopee starting 21 May 2019.
