Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 was launched recently and was available on various platforms. However, news online and forums suggest that the PC version of the game had met with some problems. Mass Effect 2 problems. Say what?
Apparently, several customers of the game were not able to install their game due to the disc 2 content, which was found to be of Mass Effect 2 content. Understandably, there was a flurry of complaints and also videos online showing proof of the problem.
This problem is only limited to the PC version and not other platforms. Sadly, this “error” by Activision is not something to be amused by as this is one of the greatest launch titles of the year. The problem is understood have affected copies in the US and Europe so far.
So to those affected, don’t worry about it. Not too much anyways. Maybe something positive can be gained from it once Activision has it sorted out. Who knows, some compensation could be in order.
P/S: Fortunately, my copy of COD: Black Ops 2 disc 2 is working fine. No traces of Mass Effect! It would be really devastating if that happened to me! – MOSES
