Samsung has begun teasing pre-orders for the just-launched Samsung Galaxy Note7, that’s expected to start from 8-10 August. Major retailers have also announced their pre-order promotions, one as early as from 3 August. Here’s a list of where you can find the best pre-order deals.
Samsung
Samsung’s official pre-order page is live, however, it will only start taking pre-orders from 8-10 August. With every pre-order, Samsung is bundling in a Wireless Charging Stand (Fast Charging), 10,200mAh Battery Pack and 10% off (SRP: MYR3,199).
When you pre-order online, you can select your preferred participating Samsung store where you can pick up your device from. There’s a total of 74 participating stores around the country. The cool thing about buying direct from Samsung is that you’ll be able to be one of the first owners of the Galaxy Note7. Because you’ll get it one day before the phone officially launches here.
Pre-orders with Samsung will require a deposit of MYR300 via PayPal. Balance to be paid when you collect the phone.
11street
11street was the earliest to announce its pre-order offer for the Galaxy Note7. Even earlier than the official 8 August from Samsung. While it isn’t offering a discount or rebate on the device, it’s throwing in a ‘mystery gift’ for the first 100 buyers.
The mystery gift is apparently the Samsung Wireless Charging Stand (Fast Charging) that’s being offered by Samsung as well. Additionally, you’ll also get a ROCK back case.
The Note7 retails for MYR3,199 (incl. GST) and will be available in Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx.
Pre-orders start from 3-18 August on 11street. Orders will start shipping on 19 August, the day the Note7 hits physical retail stores.
There’s no indication of how many units are up for pre-orders on 11street.
Lazada
Lazada Malaysia, unsurprisingly, is also one of the major online shopping malls to offer the Note7. If you pre-order, you’ll receive a Samsung Wireless Charging Stand (Fast Charging). Like 11street, there isn’t an official discount/rebate on the device.
However, as announced yesterday, you can save some dosh by using ShopBack (4% cashback) and a Lazada promo code. You can take home the Note7 with more than MYR300 discount.
The promo code is valid until 8 August, and you’ll need to be a registered new user to qualify.
Orders will ship starting 22 August 2016.
GemFIVE
Through GemFIVE, you’ll be taking home the Galaxy Note7 for just MYR2,949. That’s a 12% (up to MYR250) off list price. This is possible using the promo code SYIOK12 at checkout. There are limited units available, and orders will be shipped at the end of August.
GemFIVE has thrown some crazy deals through its promo codes before, including for the iPhone and Galaxy S7.
Senheng
The online retailer announced its pre-order today, with pre-orders in line with Samsung’s official dates – 8-10 August 2016.
For the first 250 buyers, you’ll be enjoying savings and rewards of up to MYR957. This includes 10% discount off RRP, a 10200mAh Battery Pack (USB Type-C) and Samsung Wireless Charging Stand (Fast Charging).
