Big Hari Raya savings on the big battery ASUS ZenFone 3 Max

In celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, ASUS is giving consumers every reason to own a premium-built smartphone. Its big battery, big camera ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL), is now just MYR899, a special price slash over its usual retail price of MYR999.

The ZenFone 3 Max features the signature ZenFone design language—sleek metal premium build unibody. It has a contoured 2.5D glass touch screen, with a gently curved back that makes its comfortable to hold.

It comes in four colours: Sand Gold, Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver and Rose Pink.

On the front, the ZenFone 3 Max sports a crisp 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display that spits out 450nits of brightness. Housed within a thin 2.25mm bezel, it boasts an incredible 77.5% screen-to-body ratio.

In the camera department, it doesn’t disappoint either. On the rear is a 16MP f/2.0 aperture PixelMaster shooter with superfast laser AF, 3-axis EIS and 6-direction EIS compensation. On the front, it gets an equally impressive 8MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.

Under the hood, it packs an octa-core Snapdragon 430 CPU with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. For more storage, you can upgrade via microSD expansion (up to 128GB).

Its claim to fame, of course, is the massive 4,100mAh battery. ASUS quotes up to 17 hours of 3G talktime, or up to 19 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing, or up to 72 hours of music playback. 4G standby time is an impressive 38 days.

What’s also cool is that the ZenFone 3 Max supports reverse charging. What does that mean? It means you can use the device as a powerbank, and charge your other devices via microUSB + OTG!

The device also comes with a superfast fingerprint sensor that’s located on the back.

The ZenFone 3 Max runs ZenUI 3.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
