ASUS goes hardcore with “ROG”-inspired ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition

ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe ROG

Looks like ASUS isn’t planning on standing still with its ZenFone 2 line. Already expansive and covering a wide price point, the Taiwanese tech giant has just released a special edition ZenFone 2 Deluxe for the US market. If you’re familiar with ASUS’ Republic of Gamers (“ROG”) gaming line, then you’ll love the edgy design and Black/Silver/Red accents of the new phone.

Under the hood, the phone uses the Intel Atom Z3580 (2.3GHz quad-core) mated to PowerVR G6430 CPU and 4GB RAM. The Deluxe variant as you know packs a whopping 128GB of storage, and if that isn’t enough for you, there’s also microSD expansion.

It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3, and features the infamous 13MP/5MP PixelMaster cameras.

The dual-SIM, dual-LTE phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with a ROG-inspired ZenUI layer on top.

There are two back cover options: Silver and Carbon Fibre.

The ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition is available at the official ASUS Store, Newegg, B&H and Amazon for USD399/MYR1,746.

There’s no official word on availability for the Malaysian market yet. Will keep you posted.
