At its special media event themed ‘Let Us Loop You In,’ Apple introduced amongst other things: new watch bands for its Apple Watch. In attempt to entrench its position as the #1 smartwatch, it’s making the Apple Watch Sport more affordable, starting from US$299/MYR1,299. It also unveiled the new iPhone SE, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iOS 9.3 and tvOS.
First announced in September 2014, Apple’s first wearable finally shipped on 24 April 2015 in selected markets. Available in two sizes – 38mm and 42mm and in three collections – Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition, it has quickly taken the #1 spot in the smartwatch race.
The stylish watch introduced the ground-breaking Force Touch using its Taptic Engine, which later trickled down to the iPhone 6s as 3D Touch.
