Apple is set to launch three new iPhones next week, and up till today, the official names of the devices have been widely speculated but never confirmed. In an Apple guide that was leaked earlier, the new devices with model numbers D42, D43, and N104 correspond to the iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and the iPhone 11.
Previously, Bloomberg reported that the new iPhone XR (aka iPhone 11) carried the model number N104. If you haven’t, check out the benchmark scores for the iPhone 11 here.
The PDF document talks about iOS 13 and iOS 13.1 as well as the new iPhones, Apple Watch, two new iPad models (iPad A2068 and iPad Pro A2198), alongside watchOS 6, tvOS 13, and macOS 10.15 Catalina. The document also reveals that the new iPhone models will ship with iOS 13.1 as standard, and that iOS 13 will be available for supported iOS devices after 23 September, followed by iOS 13.1 sometime in October.
The new 2019 iPhone family will purportedly hit stores on 27 September, about two weeks after the official launch on 10 September. You’ll probably notice this isn’t the usual Apple release schedule; iPhone usually launches on Tuesday, pre-orders start on Friday, and the product hits shelves the following Friday.
Techradar and 9to5Mac suspect the leaked document could be fake, citing inconsistencies in product release schedule and iOS 13 rollout dates, as well as lack of watermarks.
