Acer introduced an impressive portfolio of products at the Acer Global Press Conference earlier this year. Several of those products were officially revealed in Malaysia today – the Acer XR341CK curved monitor, Acer XB270HU gaming monitor and the Acer Revo One mini-PC.
The multiple-award winning Acer Revo One RL85 is powered by either the Intel Core i3-5005U or Core i5-5200U processor. The previous variant introduced two months ago was powered by an Intel Celeron.
The diminutive mini-PC measures 106.5 x 106.5 x 155mm but don’t let its size fool you. It’s packed with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and supports two hot swappable hard drives to bring built-in storage up to 6TB. It also supports SSHD drives and includes an SD expansion slot.
There’s 802.11ac/a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Gigabit Ethernet, 2x USB 3.0 ports, 2x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port and DisplayPort.
The Acer Revo One also comes with integrated high-definition audio, supporting 7.1 surround sound.
The powerful multimedia mini-PC runs Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and comes with Microsoft Office 2013, McAfee Internet Security and a collection of Acer-branded applications.
The Acer Revo One RL85 is priced starting from RM1,500 and will be available in mid-August 2015.
