It’s pre-order day for the Samsung Galaxy S9 starting today till 4 March 2018. After Samsung Malaysia announced its pre-order offer, Lazada Malaysia is next in line to give you the chance to be one of the early birds for Samsung’s latest flagship.
Customer who pre-order can expect to receive their phone from 9 March onwards, a full week before the official sales start on 16 March 2018.
The models available include the Galaxy S9 64GB for MYR3,299, Galaxy S9+ 64GB for MYR3,799; Galaxy S9+ 128GB for MYR3,999; and the Galaxy S9+ for MYR4,399.
The 64GB and 128GB models are available in three colour options: Midnight Black, Coral Blue and new Lilac Purple. The top of the line Galaxy S9+ is only offered in Midnight Black.
Just like Samsung’s own offer, every purchase of the Galaxy S9 will come with a free Harman Kardon Onyx Mini Bluetooth speaker worth MY699. Lazada is also throwing in an exclusive VIP surprise. What’s the surprise? We can’t tell you, because it’s a… surprise.
To pre-order, you’ll need to pay a deposit of MYR300 and settle the balance upon collection. Lazada also offers 0% interest instalments.
To recap, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ sport 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Quad HD Infinity Displays, respectively. They look similar to the much-loved Galaxy S8 series, but are now even more refined and come with enhancements.
The killer feature is the variable aperture camera on the device. The 12MP camera can switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4 making for better exposed photos and videos. The camera also gains new tricks like Super Slow-mo and AR Emoji.
The new flagship also gains stereo speakers tuned by AKG, while retaining a conventional 3.5mm mic jack.
That aside, the Galaxy S9 comes powered by the Exynos 9810 octa-core processor, or a Snapdragon 845 depending on region.
This is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
