Apple releases iOS 11.0.2 update for iPhone and iPad

Apple iOS 11.0.2 update

Apple has released yet another OTA update for iOS 11, since its official rollout in September. iOS 11.0.2 bears the build number 15A421, which brings with it several bug fixes and enhancements.

One of the bug fixes issued include the crackly audio during phone calls on the iPhone 8.

There’s also instances where some photos do not show up in users’ libraries, as well as an issues with attachments in encrypted mail.

I don’t know about you but there are also several display anomalies, although those are more app-specific (namely WhatsApp).

The minor update is available now for all iOS 11 devices, including the six-gen iPod touch) and it brings “various bug fixes and improvements for iPhone and iPad.”

There is no mention regarding battery drain issues (some users reported this on iOS 11.0.1) but I’ll report back if I find anything.

To update your device, open Settings and head over to General > Software Update. Download and install. Your device will need to have at least 50% battery to perform the update, or have it plugged into a power outlet.

Notice any improvements? Has the update fixed issues for you? Did it introduce any new bugs or problems? Comment below.
