Lenovo continues its momentum in the gaming segment, launching three Lenovo Legion towers and a gaming monitor at gamescom 2017. The latest gaming towers are headlined by the Lenovo Legion Y920, flanked by the Y720 and Y520. It also announced a HDR-capable, high-end 24.5-inch Full HD display—the Lenovo Legion Y25f Gaming Monitor.

As you may know, the gaming segment is a growth market for Lenovo. Despite the slowing PC market, gaming is proving to be lucrative segment for PC makers, including for Lenovo. While still a young brand, Lenovo Legion is already the #1 brand in Thailand, and is also finding some success in other countries in Southeast Asia, like Malaysia.

Lenovo reiterates that it listens to its customers, and its products, especially in the gaming line, are developed based on community feedback. What do gamers want? Speed and performance to run the most demanding AAA games.

The VR-ready top-of-the-line tower runs Windows 10, and is powered by up to 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700K processors, and up to a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GPU.

It also offers two milestone additions: optional 32GB 2800MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX overclockable DDR4 memory, and optional integrated Asetek liquid cooling sysem.

It’s the very first time Lenovo has partnered exclusively with Corsair and Asetek to integrate their performance-enhancing components out of the box.

For casual gamers, you should be plenty happy with the Lenovo Legion Y520. It boasts up to 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700 processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 560 graphics, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 256GB PCIe SSD and 2TB HDD.

The Y520 also comes with Lenovo Entertainment Hub—an app for access to popular video game codes with VR upscaling on select FPS games.

The TN panel delivers a viewing angle of 170 degrees and comes with 3x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and audio-out.

Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower with options Corsair Vengeance LPX overclockable memory will be available starting EUR2,299/MYR11,589 in September 2017. Alternatively, the Y920 with optional integrated Asetek liquid cooling will be available stating EUR2,399/MYR12,111 in October 2017.

No pricing nor availability for the Malaysian market has been revealed.
