The powerful honor 8 Pro has made a punchy entrance in the Malaysian market, completely selling out on Vmall in just a month of its launch. Hitting Vmall on 11 July at a retail price of MYR1,999, the brisk sales has made it one of the fastest selling models on Huawei’s official e-store.

Its success is testament to consumers’ quest for power. And power is what the honor 8 Pro packs in droves. Firstly, it features a whopping 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, backed by the powerful yet energy-efficient octa-core Kirin 960 processor.

Expect a full-day’s worth of juice, and fast-charging support too.

The honor 8 Pro doesn’t just have processing and graphics power. It boasts some impressive camera hardware too. It touts a dual-camera 12MP setup—one capturing the full RGB spectrum, while the other in native monochrome.

It’s a snappy camera which delivers outstanding details and colours.

The front gets an 8MP selfie shooter that comes with Wide Aperture and Beauty modes.

The device runs EMUI 5.1, based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
