Get a cash rebate and bundled goodies worth MYR888 with the Galaxy Note8 pre-order

Samsung Galaxy Note8

Well, that escalated quickly. Hours after the Malaysian interwebs got flooded with leaks of the Galaxy Note8 pre-order, Samsung released official details and pricing. Looks like the leaked artwork was accurate, with the new flagship phablet going for MYR3,999.

The details you pretty much know, from the previous post, but let’s do a quick refresher. With each pre-order, buyers stand to receive a cash rebate of MYR321, a Samsung Protection Plus plan (one-year screen crack warranty and one-year extended warranty worth MYR298), a 5,100mAh powerbank (worth MYR269), and a free clear cover.

The SRP of the device is as mentioned: MYR3,999. The interesting thing is that the mentioned rebate is instant, effectively giving you a big MYR321 discount for a final price of MYR3,678. This makes it cheaper than even the Galaxy S8+, which currently stands at MYR3,699.

This is certainly a generous offer, similar to what Samsung did with the Galaxy S8.

The pre-order period is from 5-10 September 2017. Head over to the official Galaxy Note8 pre-order page for updates.

While we enjoy the instant rebate on the Note8, our Singapore friends get the bonus of a free Samsung DeX Station. But hey, personally, I’d take the discount.

A Galaxy Note8 for MYR3,699? Now, that’s an attractive proposition!
