If you’re a fan of the beautiful Neelofa, then you may have noticed her social postings with the OPPO R9s. Well, it’s no secret that she’s the ambassador of a new variant of the flagship series – OPPO R9s Black Edition. The sleek device is set for a local launch on 3 May 2017.

Neelofa is of course a familiar face in the Malaysian entertainment scene. She’s an actress, TV presenter and model. Neelofa joins a growing list of celebrities and personalities which includes Fattah Amin, Ayda Jebat and Min Chen.

OPPO again plays on its strengths – bringing a solid product wrapped with a celebrity endorsement.

As a quick recap, the OPPO R9s is a sleek, all-metal device packing a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 5. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor mated to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

Ditching the “Selfie Expert” label that was on the OPPO F1 range, the OPPO R9s gets a strong 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX398 main shooter. It boasts dual-focus technology that OPPO claims is 40% quicker than PDAF. It also features electronic image stabilisation (EIS).

It’s no slouch on the selfie-front either. It boasts a 16MP f/2.0 aperture lens coupled with its famed Beautify 4.0 software.
