Celcom’s killer FIRST Platinum plan leaks ahead of launch – 18GB for MYR150/month

Celcom FIRST Platinum

Sometimes it’s good to have some sort of embargo or signed DNA of some kind, especially when it comes to telco plans. Understandably, being such a competitive industry any information on rates and plans is of highly sensitive nature. Celcom though, seems to have a habit of revealing plans to its dealers beforehand without properly plugging them afterwards.

Earlier today, two of its dealers posted pre-launch briefing slides on Facebook. The soon-to-be-launched plan is called FIRST Platinum and it’s going to be pretty epic. First and foremost, thanks dealers!

Anyways, FIRST Platinum is set to be the biggest plan in Celcom’s stable, catered to the heavy data user. It will offer a combined data quota of 18GB (9GB monthly + 9GB weekends), with the ability to carry forward unutilized internet quota. Thankfully there’s no ‘Burung Hantu’ business with this top end plan.

You’ll get unlimited calls and SMS to all networks, with unlimited Yonder Music, iflix and Zipit Chat for 12 months. There’s also free 9GB’s worth of Celcom WiFi.

All this for just MYR150/month. An attractive proposition indeed.

Other perks include preferred number offering, an extended credit limit of MYR1,000 and extended payment of 45 days. There’s even exclusive access to Malaysia Airlines’ Golden Lounge.

It’s a limited time offer, purportedly for sign-ups from 15 April till 31 May 2016.

The Celcom FIRST Platinum plan looks to be a killer high-end plan that may just be the benchmark in the Malaysian telco scene.
