In conjunction with the debut of the new GALAXY S6 and GALAXY S6 Edge at the Samsung Unpacked Event, MWC 2015, Samsung has introduced the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition, fully optimised with the latest GALAXY flagship phones.

With the new Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition powered by Oculus, experience high resolution movies, TV shows, VOD services and photos together with the new GALAXY S6 and GALAXY S6 Edge. The new headset brings a better VR experience with reduced pixelisation and a wider field-of-view (96 degrees).

Design-wise, the new headset is 15% smaller than previous generation making it more comfortable to wear. The ergonomically designed straps give better weight balance.

The new Gear VR can now be powered by its USB port for longer play time.

Through the Oculus Store, users can download an extensive selection of optimised, localised VR content for the Gear VR — including from top-tier creators like VR games and 360 degree, and even a new performance from Cirque du Soleil, Kurios.

The Gear VR Innovator Edition comes in Frost White and bundled with replaceable face foam, a carrying pouch and lens cleaning cloth.
