U Mobile wants 2 million more, launches “Vision 2 Million” campaign

U Mobile Vision 2 Million

U Mobile Vision 2 Million
U Mobile is on a mission – to add two million more new subscribers by 31 December 2014. The young telco plans to achieve this through its new, aggressive ‘Vision 2 Million’ campaign, which will see it offer incredible incentives for mobile users to switch and port-in.

Fresh after the announcement of its network expansion rollout plans where it plans to add another 2,000 3G and 4G LTE sites, the new campaign aims to drive greater business growth in both subscription and market presence.

As an incentive, U Mobile will offer customer free on-net calls and free internet for one day on 1 January 2015, should they achieve their objectives by end of 2014.

How’s this for a dangled carrot? U Mobile will be offering new prepaid customers free internet for one year. Customers who switch to U Mobile from 16 September 2014 onwards will enjoy 1 year free 250MB high speed mobile internet for every RM30 top-up and above. This is along with U Mobile’s trademark free calls and other benefits.

To make it more convenient for customers to port-in, the telco has introduced its Online MNP service, that enables porting in online instead of a physical outlet.

Customers only need to purchase a SIM pack from any authorised U Mobile distributor and log on to u.com.my for further instructions. After porting, port-in subscribers will receive RM3 worth of free mobile credit.

U Mobile also has a Friend Referral Programme where you and your friend can receive RM3 credit for new subscribers introduced to U Mobile. You as an introducer will also receive 10% of the reload amount made by your introducees for the next six months.

Sounds great to me.
