It has come to our attention that Maxis has scrapped its Fair Usage Policy for its new MaxisOne Plan that offers limitless text and voice calls from RM128 per month. The MaxisOne plan lite, with a smaller data bundle, also gives limitless text and voice calls, from RM78 per month.

The MaxisOne plan is Maxis’ most worry-free postpaid plan to date – offering true limitless talk and test, ‘always on’ internet and flat rate international roaming. It’s a breakthrough plan devised for customers who want ‘freedom to communicate’ so to speak.

I dissected the plan after it was launched to answer some niggling questions you may have.

It’s fantastic that Maxis has decided to scrap the previous Fair Usage Policy which placed a cap of 3,000 minutes and 3,000 SMSes to its ‘unlimited’ talk and text, which I thought was already incredibly generous.

If you’re looking for a value-for-money postpaid plan, you should consider this.
