HTC has hired the services of Robert Downey Jr, to spearhead its new $1 billion global ‘Change’ campaign featuring the HTC brand and its phone features. The star of box office hits Iron Man, The Avengers and Sherlock Holmes, signed a two-year contract to literally be his charismatic, sarcastic self.

The Change campaign is a three-phase campaign where the first phase features the playful side of HTC. Robert Downey Jr and fellow actors play around with HTC initials. Doesn’t it remind you of BFM Radio‘s campaign a tad? Fun and creative, nonetheless. The key takeaway really is about HTC phones being whatever you want them to be, for you.
