ASUS Showcases New Line-up of Devices at ‘We Transform’ Press Event

Kuala Lumpur, 14 August 2013 – ASUS today showcased its current and upcoming innovation at a press event entitled ‘We Transform’, in line with its ongoing ‘In Search of Incredible’ campaign. The press event is in conjunction with the ASUS roadshow in the Klang Valley.

ASUS Southeast Asia Regional Director for System Business Group, Rex Lee and National Sales Manager of Intel Malaysia, Norhizam Kadir graced the special event.

Lee said, “Our greatest motivation is to transform you, the consumers’ expectations of technology in today’s digital lifestyle.” We are continuously striving for better transformation of innovations that are not only simple to use, but to help people realise their full potential,” he continued.

At the event, ASUS officially announced the availability of the entry-level tablet MeMO Pad HD7, value touch VivoBook S500 Series, new multimedia-optimised N Series notebooks and new A Series notebooks for the local market. ASUS also previewed the long-awaited PadFone Infinity, powered by Intel Atom, as well as ASUS’s first 6-inch phablet, first seen at Computex 2013 Taipei exhibition – the Fonepad Note FHD 6.

To delight of the more tech-skewed media and bloggers, ASUS also gave a hands-on of the first and only new Google Nexus 7 tablet. Official ASUS official sources have revealed that the much-awaited Android tablet will be coming to Malaysian shores mid-November, with pricing as close to the US pricing as possible.
