Samsung has announced the arrival of the Samsung GALAXY S4 mini, the compact version of the best-selling flagship – GALAXY S4. The tiny but mighty new GALAXY member delivers performance, ease-of-use and ultimate portability to consumers.

The GALAXY S4 has sold over 20 million units since its launch, and is by far the most successful, and fastest-selling GALAXY model so far. The GALAXY S4 mini is targeted to consumers who want the same performance and features of its bigger sibling, minus the bulk.

With a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display and weighing in at a scant 107g, the GALAXY S4 mini is perfect for operation with one hand. Don’t let its compact design and pocketable form fool you, as it packs a powerful 1.7Ghz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and runs the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The GALAXY smartphone range has always been touted for its camera capabilities and the GALAXY S4 mini continues this trend. The mini smartphone packs an 8MP main shooter and a 1.9MP HD front-facing shooter. Like the GALAXY S4, special features like Sound & Shot, Panorama Shot and Story Album are included as standard.

Connectivity-wise, the GALAXY S4 mini comes with the prerequisites – WiFi, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and IR LED.

It also packs 8GB of internal memory with a microSD slot that supports additional memory of up to 64GB. The removable battery is rated at 1,900mAh which should give users a full-day of general use.

Your little ‘Life Companion’ is nothing without the ability to share and connect, and the S4 mini includes the Group Play feature to share content and collaborate with friends.

Preloaded apps included S Translator, S Travel, WatchON, ChatON and S Health.

The GALAXY S4 mini is available in White Frost and Black Mist. The GALAXY S4 mini will come in varying configurations supporting 4G LTE, or 3G HSPA+ or 3G Dual SIM, depending on market.
