The current hot topic is the Samsung Galaxy Note7 which was just launched at Unpacked 2016, New York. The top-of-the-line flagship device will be available for purchase in retail channels starting 19 August. Samsung Malaysia has announced that pre-orders will commence from 8-10 August. 11street however, appears to be jumping the gun, offering the Note7 for pre-orders starting today, 3 August right up till 18 August.
Announced earlier, Samsung will be putting up a total of 4,000 units for pre-orders. It looks like 11street may have committed additional numbers for their own pre-orders. I wouldn’t be surprised if other retailers like Senheng will follow suit.
The Galaxy Note7 retails for MYR3,199 and will be available in three colour options – Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Gold Platinum. Sadly, no Coral Blue for Malaysia.
In the US, some retail partners are throwing in a Samsung Gear Fit2 or a 256GB microSD card as a free gift with every purchase.
Mystery gift for buyers
