Touch 'n Go QR Transit

In June, Touch ‘n Go launched a pilot program for QR Transit – a cashless payment option to pay for LRT rides on the Kelana Jaya LRT line. For QR Transit testers, you’re in for a treat. Touch ‘n Go is giving 100 percent cashback on all rides during Merdeka Day, 31 August 2018.

The QR code-based payment system is supported at seven LRT stations namely Kelana Jaya, Universiti, Kerinchi, KL Sentral, Dang Wang, KLCC and Ampang.

The cashback promotion is applicable to all Touch ‘n Go app users who have activated the QR transit feature. The promo runs from 6AM to 11.59PM, 31 August 2018. The cashback amount will be credited into your e-wallet within seven days after your LRT trip.

The app is available on Android and iOS. The app supports reload via credit/debit card, online banking and via TNG reload machines.

Making payment is easy. Before you reach the terminal, fire up the app, tap on Pay, enter your pre-set 6-digit pen and scan the QR code displayed on your phone scanned at the terminal. Having used it regularly, it’s simple and quick.

Touch 'n Go QR TransitJust last week, TNG Digital, the folks who develop and manage the Touch ‘n Go, launched a new version of the app sporting a whole new look and several new features.

The refreshed app looks friendlier and introduces the ability to add physical Touch ‘n Go cards to the app. At this juncture, you can only manage the app and check the balance. The most awaited feature that allows the card to be reloaded isn’t available yet.
