Xiaomi’s “cheap and cheerful” Redmi 7A delivers happiness for less than MYR400

The Xiaomi factory continues to churn out devices like there’s no tomorrow. This time around, for those with shallower pockets, the Chinese smartphone maker is bringing the Redmi 7A to Malaysia. The new budget device packs serious kit for just under MYR400.

A complete upgrade over its predecessor, the Redmi 6A, the Redmi 7A sports the power-efficient oct-core Snapdragon 439 chipset, coupled with 2GB RAM and up to 32GB of storage.

It features a 5.45-inch HD+ Full Screen Display, boasting blue light eye protection certification by TUV Rheinland.
