WordConf Asia 2011 is Coming!

Following up from the successful WordCamp Malaysia 2010, the upcoming WordConf Asia promises to bring even more WordPress knowledge-sharing. And it’s only 2 weeks away! WordCamp (now WordConf) is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress – informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and network. WordCamps are open to WordPress.com and WordPress.org users alike.

WordConf is happening on 14th May at Royale Bintang and will only cost RM 150 for the one day event.

Speakers include – David Wang aka BlogJunkie and James Farmer talking about the JetPack plugin.

WordPress is an open source blog publishing application powered by PHP and MySQL which can also be used for content management. It has many features including a plugin architecture and a templating system. Used by over 2% of the 10,000 biggest websites, WordPress is the most popular blog software in use today.
