Honor Malaysia has just unveiled the honor 9 Lite in Malaysia. It also announced a one-of-its-kind partnership with leading e-commerce platform Shopee. The partnership gives exclusive rights to Shopee for selling the device to its 9 million strong customer base in Malaysia via the honor Official Shop on Shopee.
Not only that, Shopee will offer the honor 9 Lite at a discounted price of MYR699 during Shopee’s Shocking Sales on 9 March 2018. The device officially retails for MYR749.
For Shopee, the honor partnership will be one of many more strategic partnerships the platform will forge with established brands. It aims to assist more brands to expand their brand presence online, as well as help them tap a wider customer base.
For honor, this is a first-of-its-kind multi-channel partnership for the “digital” brand, and it sees tremendous potential in its collaboration with Shopee.
The partnership sees honor setting up an Official Shop on Shopee, and also gives Shopee exclusive rights for selling the honor 9 Lite.
Honor’s epic “honor Day” will also see the two brands collaborating further.
To celebrate the launch of the honor 9 Lite, Shopee will be running a selfie contest on Instagram from 12 to 31 March. Participants will stand a chance to win the all-new honor 9 Lite.
All you need to do is simply upload a selfie with your BFF on Instagram, add a caption sharing why you think your BFF is beautiful, tag @shopee_my with the hashtag #ShopeeXhonor.
Two lucky winners will be picked to receive the grand prize (one each for the winner and BFF).
Another 10 winners will receive 10,000 Shopee coins each.
Additionally, you can also play a Facebook Live game to unlock the Code of Honor, with a daily winner picked to win an honor 9 Lite. This runs from 7 to 9 March.
To recap, the honor 9 Lite is a beautifully crafted smartphone sporting a bezel-less 5.65-inch Full View HD screen. Powered by the Kirin 659 processor, it comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
