Wiko introduces Plus duo minus a plus-sized price tag

Wiko View2 Plus

Fresh from IFA Berlin 2018, Wiko is bringing two new full-screen smartphones to Malaysia – the View2 Plus and Tommy3 Plus. The sleek duo is available now via Wiko’s official store on Lazada, as well as authorised resellers nationwide.

View2 Plus

The View2 Plus is the latest in Wiko’s flagship View2 series, featuring a notched 5.93-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. This is drastically different from the minimalist notch on the View2 Pro. The sleek device is treated with a special coating called Supernova and is available also in Anthracite.

Under the hood, it shares the same octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor found on the View2 Pro and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

It offers a large 4,000mAh battery and it also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear. It also supports Face Unlock.

In the optics department, it sports a 12MP + 5MP dual-camera system with 1.25-micron pixel on the rear, and a commendable 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

It runs Android Oreo out-of-the-box with Wiko UI on top.

Tommy3 Plus

For those on a budget, the Tommy3 Plus offers more for less. An upgrade from the previous Tommy3, the Tommy3 Plus packs a 5.45-inch 18:9 HD+ display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 1.3GHz chip bundled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage.

It’s offered in four colour options: Anthracite Mirror, Gold, Bleen and Cherry Red.

Camera wise, it packs a single 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front-facing shooter with selfie flash.

The dual-SIM device boasts a 2,900mAh battery and runs Android Oreo out-of-the-box.

The View2 Plus retails for MYR559 but as an exclusive launch promo, it is being offered at MYR499 until 19 September. You can purchase a unit from the Wiko Official Store on Lazada – www.lazada.com.my/shop/wiko-official-store.

The Tommy3 Plus retails for MYR399 and is available at all Wiko Authorised Outlets.
