Christmas is all about giving and sharing. But it’s also a time for wishful thinking. It’s the time when you know you’ve been good the whole year and wishing Santa will come down the chimney and put that 55″ SMART TV in your Christmas stocking. Here’s my Top 10 Geeky Xmas Wishlist!

Nokia Lumia 920Nokia LUMIA 920
So why the LUMIA 920? Because it’s solidly built, it runs the most fluid and the only live tile-based OS – Windows Phone 8, it’s got a great camera and plenty else. Plus, it’s a refreshing change from Android and iOS. In white or yellow pretty, please.

iPad mini
Contrary to what Steve said, there is no ‘perfect size’. Looking to replace my ageing iPad 2, so the iPad mini comes as first choice. It may not have a Retina Display (that will come soon enough), but it’s got enough bells and whistles to be a great book reader, media consumption device plus lightweight worker. Its new thinner, lighter form factor is perfect for moving about. 64GB please.

Drobo 5D
The Drobo 5D

Sony NEX-6 camera
I salivated when I saw and held the Sony NEX-7 CSC. Then just this year, Sony debuted the more affordable, NEX-6. Fell in love with its form factor, superb imaging capabilities, manual control and speed. Perfect for events and more.

MacBook Pro 13″ Retina Display
Who can deny the svelte, powerful, super sharp MacBook Pro 13″ with Retina Display? The top of the line MacBook Pro leads the way  in terms of sheer sexiness, desirability and performance. i7 processor, SSD, Thunderbol, Retina Display. ‘Nuff said.

Drobo 5D Thunderbolt personal storage array
No true geek should ever not own a Drobo. Made popular all those years by the charming Cali Lewis in her GeekBrief.TV days, the Drobo is a must-have for secure, fast, personal storage. Now with Thunderbolt!

Cote & Ciel Isar Rucksack
Cote & Ciel Isar Rucksack. Sexier than the person carrying it.

Bell & Ross BR01-92 watch
Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard. The only watch that can make me cream my pants. I’m no aviator, but this will make me fly.

GT Omega / GamePOD GTX Racing Simulator gaming rig
This gaming rig is perfect for home or office (why not get two?). This should give me realistic race simulator experience to satisfy my daily petrolhead needs. Game on!

Cote&Ciel Isar Rucksack
This is sex on a strap. Sorry if that sounded a tinge kinky. My eyes bled when I first laid eyes on the Cote&Ciel rucksack in Publika. Pure Italian perfection. Carrying your notebook and gadgets will never be dull again.

E30 M3 DTM
The ultimate BMW M3 car

BMW E92 M3 Coupe daily driver
No true petrolhead can be without the race-bred and race-ready BMW E92 M3 coupe. Not the most powerful mind you, but the 4L V8 lump delivers more than 400 horses and 400Nm of torque. Enough to power it to 100km/h from standstill in under 4 seconds. This, undeniably, will bring me more smiles than I can ever imagine, on a daily basis.

BMW E30 M3 race car
All this talk about an M-car without wanting to own the one that started it all? My all-time favourite – the iconic, winningest BMW E30 M3. I want it in hardcore DTM fashion, for track duties. Oh, in competition weiss of course, thank you.
