Unlocked GALAXY Nexus available now in US, at a price

Folks in the UK are a lucky lot, being the first to be able to get their hands on the slurplicious Samsung GALAXY Nexus. Not to be outdone, the Yanks who have a penchant for cutting-edge smartphones, are looking to the gray market to get their hands on them.

The hefty $700 to $900 price range does not seem to be a detriment. According to The Verge, US retailer Expansys USA has over 100 units in stock at a pocket-burning $749.99 each.

For that price you’ll be getting an unlocked, quad-band, 16GB version, compatible with AT&T or T-Mobile. No word on whether it will be on Verizon yet.
